Everywhere I go, I see people get complacent about their situations in life. They believe they're tied down to their job, their relationship, school, life in general. Or I see people get in relationships with someone and never choose to improve or get better personally, stagnating as a result. This song is about refusing complacency, fighting against it and anyone who tries to hold or tie you down, striving to get better no matter how bleak things may be, Follow your fucking dreams and don't let your insecurities, fears or anyone external to you hold you down.
