about
This song was a huge turning point for our band. The recurring theme of our EP is death, but not just death of one's life. This album was never supposed to be made. We were all going to quit and leave this behind, our band was gonna die early. We rode through the struggles. This goes out to anyone who had to deal with fake friends and assholes.
lyrics
I'm going crazy, I keep coming back for more.
I think I've seen us here before.
You faked your smile and you said you were a friend,
I never thought this shit would end.
Trying, trying, was never your thing,
A lone wolf for hire dressed in sheep's clothing.
Trying, trying, was never your thing.
You always wore me out,
You always tore me down,
I'm lost and nowhere to be found.
You always pushed your luck,
I was never enough,
I'm swinging back this time.
